LaCantina teams up with Kim Lewis Designs to exhibit her “Joshua Tree” style tiny home at the 2017 Dwell on Design show in Los Angeles.
After falling in love with tiny home living while designing for the television show FYI’s “Tiny House Nation” and connecting with homeowners who wanted to downsize and live a more adventure-filled life outside of the home, Lewis set out to build her own.
At just 560 square feet, the home packs a colorful punch built on two gooseneck trailers featuring built-in hammocks, a removable deck, screened-in porch using Parasoleil copper panels and a custom kitchen island. Just as any home, this tiny residence offers a bedroom with a complete full bath and kitchen to meet all the demands of daily life.
With maximizing space and creating a home that promotes an active lifestyle top of mind, selecting LaCantina’s Aluminum Thermally Controlled Folding and Multi Slide Systems to open up the home was only natural. Open space products such as these not only create an indoor outdoor experience but encourages a healthier more active lifestyle simply by better living.
